"Wizardry I for Macintosh?"
I know that it existed at one time, as I used to play it CONSTANTLY on my old Mac Classic.

Having recently acquired another Macintosh, I have spent countless hours searching for this game. Alas, all of my efforts have been in vain.

I turn to you, my fellow Wizardry fans, in my greatest hour of need. Does anyone have the vaguest notion of where I might find it?

actually.... I don't know where you live, but here (Austin, TX). I remember running into a copy of both Wizardry 1 and 2 - at a Half-price books. They had a small little used software section under the counter... that was 4 years ago or so though. I used to have it for the B&W Mac way back in the day too, and at one point -somebody- (*cough*brother*cough*) overwrote what was the "master" disk into a scenario disk. So I could no longer play beyond the first level. Anyways, good luck finding it.

Heh... small world. Austin, TX happens to be exactly where I live.

I take regular trips to Half-Price Books to dig around for old software. But I haven't found what I'm looking for yet.

Thanks for the reply!

Hi...I have the disks so I confirm that it existed but alas my disks are corupted and won't install on my computers. I can boot the game from the disk but it freezes when you get to the elevator. I also have "Knight of Diamonds" for macintosh but it won't run at all...If you hear anything please pass along the info. I just miss killing those Greater Demons and Will-o-Wisps for fun and profit...
