Llevram (5414 posts) Sep-18-23, 04:58 PM (Pacific) "Wizardry 1 remake available on Steam" LAST EDITED ON Sep-18-23 AT 05:00 PM (Pacific) Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord ... remade with modern graphics and such. Check it out on Steam I bought it ($30) and started playing. My initial thoughts were: It's weird, it's a step by step dungeon, but aside from that, it doesn't feel like the original game. To be fair, if they remade the original, no one (besides us few remaining diehard Wizardry fans) might play it. But redoing it with today's technology is OK, but they should have tweaked the UI. Don't make me press page up/page down to scroll through text. Don't have me press the left and right ALT keys to cycle through characters. Go ahead and use sensible keys.
