Cherub (49 posts) Dec-13-01, 01:10 PM (Pacific) "chests in the castle" has anybody managed to get access to this nice room with the chests in? i checked the castle a few times but cannot find a way and: i have a rift key and dont know where to use it. and: there is also a chest in the rapax zoo where the fishes are. can you get to this one?   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: Treasure room" i used the chute in the prince room, then found the teleporter to the savant tower and a few other things in this area but there is still one door locked. ok, anyway... wont need it anymore i think. iam already close to the end i guess. even saw the savant once. btw: can it be that in wiz8 are not so many weapons like in wiz7? i mean in the gorror chests you found so many nice weapons like mendance lance, zatoichi bo, marumasa blade ... or in the city of sky .. light sword, powerglove, frontier phasers. do such weapons exist in part8? i found a few energy cells. thought they could be mun for phasers.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"Weapon balance" I thought the "weapon balance" was better in wiz 8, in that you didn't get all the best weapons when you were at the end (or at so high a level you didn't really need weapons any more). I felt in Wiz 8, there may not have been as many suprelative weapons available (no gorrors with 6 rooms guranteed to grant you awesome boon), but that as you progressed, you usually always found better stuff.
