"The Rattkin Tree"
Okay, so I got to the Rattkin Tree and killed the breeders and the archers guarding them. Now, every time I camp and leave the building, the now-hostile rattkin patrols attack and kill me every time. And tips on fighting them? My party is at levels 11-13, not sure who's what level:

Dracon-Valkyrie
Human-Valkyrie
Felpurr-Ninja
Rawulf-Alchemist/Gadgeteer
Dracon-Ranger
Lizardwoman-Fighter
Faery-Bard
Human-Rouge*

And here Madras said that after I 'kill the breeders, the rest will be easy pickings'. Lying Trynnie.

I ran into the same problem, once I got the tactics down on the breeders, I found I could take them on a little earlier, but the hordes of hostile rattkins are tough.

I found that I had to use the corners of doors and buildings, to provide a minimal front for them to attack, and use a lot of ranged attacks and spells. If you can make it out of the breeders hut, back down to the next hut on the right, it is pretty defensible.

If you can manage to get to the Don's hut, he and Calzone will help you take out the hostile rattkins (they apparently want to keep you alive for tasks more than they care about the Rakuza).

Thanks. I thought about trying to get to Don but every time I tried I ran into the same problem. Maybe cause I sorta forgot to mark his house on my map..stupid me. I`ll try that and see if I die or not. So, thanks!

... on the left, when leaving the breeders. Of course, if you can make it that far. The x-ray spell comes in handy here, to see where it is safe and for how far.

I ran into the same problem too but my solution was actually my gadgeteer and I noticed that you have one too. Mind spells seem to work fairly well on the rattkin for me and I used terror (jack in box) to drive them away and pick them apart one by one. It takes forever, but it's better than dying. Also try staying right behind doorways. That way the most they can send at you is like 2 goons at a time.
