Solipso (0 posts) Jul-30-02, 07:53 AM (Pacific) "Am I in trouble?" Regarding Don Barlone, the rattkin mob boss in Trynton: My rogue failed to pickpocket him and he became hostile. We killed him and his henchman - 7 x 72,000 XP - and he dropped the Astral Dominae. He also dropped a powerful quarterstaff, usable only by ninjas, though it will probably fetch a good price in a shop. But maybe my party did the wrong thing. Would they have got more XP by going along with the Don's proposal that he steal the Astral Donimae and sell it to us? That and the XP for killing him and Milano. You found, earlier than most, that the Don already stole it before you meet him the first time. Every one of my parties killed him for the item.
