"obtaining the astral dominae from the gangster rat in Trynton...?"
He stole it from the dark savant to sell it to you... but he charges almost 100.000... I haven't got that kind of money...(will I ever?)

Is there a way to obtain it without fighting them (these guys kill you in a blink of an eye) or buying it...? Trading with the fake one...? But I already used that trick in the Mook settlement in Arnika...

Or do I have to start saving money...?
Tell me... so I won't make any crazy expenses

Thanks...

Yes! You will eventualy get lots of gold for some very expensive items that you might like to purchase and use.
And, you will be able to kill the Rat (Don) once you have devloped some higher level skills. Speed is a important skill for this battle. The haste spell is also of value.
They tell me that it is possible to purchase the AD from Don,,, but,,, I have never been on good enough terms with the rats for them even to talk to me.
Hope this is of some help to you.
Have a nice day.
MM

I've gone through that twice. Once I had enough money to buy it outright and got it with no problems and maintained a decent relationship with the Ratzuka. The other time I didn't have the money so I just killed them. (I mean, really, they're not nice guys anyway....)

Killing them has the benefit of getting some neat items afterward.

3. "Little trick for killing the Don..."
If you are going to kill him anyway. First take out Milano without getting close to the Don. Second, don't get close use long range weapons (slings and bows) with the best ammo you can buy. Third, make sure you have Missle Shield up. Using these tactics you can pinprick him to death without encurring major damage yourself.

ok... but how can I keep the Don or Milano from getting close up to me...? Does "ring of fire" help... I'm about op level up and I could choose this spell...

What should my average level be before taking on the Don...?

I'm about 12-13...

Close with Milano he is only a level 8 and you party at level 12-13 should be able to take hime out without too much trouble at close range. While you are fighting Milano the Don is across the room within throwing range but nothing else. Be sure to have Missle Shield cast at max and engage Milano only. Bless and Haste your party on the first round Superman any members you can. The Don will not move in to attack you at close pange while you are fighting Milano. Once you have killed Milano move as far as you can away from the Don and shoot at him at long range. Missle Shield will protect you from most of his attacks. Continue at long range until you have arrowed him to death. While you are fighting have your healers ready to heal/cure poison on party members. Good huntiog.

Or ... don't target Milano at all, except with Dust of Defection. If you can switch him to your side he will attack the Don and do some damage while Don Barlone kills him for you. Canned elementals are usually useful.

I always use haste (bottled is level 5) and I don't "cure poison" until the fight is over. Just cast heals or drink pickmeup's. Be sure everyone has 3 bottles of cure poison. The spellcasters will run out of spellpoints before they cure everyone.

I didn't have any problem at all killing the Don. He also drops the Cane of Corpus, which is an awesome weapon if you have a fairy ninja, or can sell for over 80Gs if you don't. Like most CRPGs, By the endgame you'll have more money than you can spend.
