"Freed Rapax Queen, but WHY?"
As far as I can remember, I did not gain any experience for freeing her. Now she just stands inside the cave "waiting" for a chance to escape. I've killed the other Rapax, and she is free to go. I did not try to recruit her, as I followed the peace mission and do not have rom in my party. Would she join if I asked her to?

I am not clear on why I bothered with her at all...

3. "The white entry remains in the journal"
... saying something like report to Sgt. Rubble for training.

4. "RE: The white entry remains in the journal"

But that only happens if you don't go back and talk to Rubble after you've donned your scuba gear. If you do, it changes to the fulfilled quest color.

5. "Ah ..."
I think a lot of people missed that .... they (and I) just talked to him, donned the gear and jumped right in (thinking the training was to be done in the water). Then upon return, no way to clear the journal entry.

No big deal anyhow, since you don't get any EXP for it.

6. "It's just that..."

...some people are anal about getting rid of all the white entries in their journal. I know I am -- I go through and count the number of white entries just so I can determine where to go next to get rid of some of them.
