"Marten/SeaCaves"
I am stuck in the sea caves, been stuck all weekend. please help me. the only thing I found that might lead to marten is a bar up across a hole in the ceilig of a cave. I found a wooden plank that I was hoping to use there. It still says specific item required. hmmm? what item might this be? any other help in this area i would appreciate too. thanks

I'm not sure what "bar" you are talking about, but you do need the plank. After getting the plank on the beach, head back the way you came until you see a sandy, windy path ascending up the mountain (not a cave at this point). Slide down some slippery rock. You will be in caves now that will eventually lead to a chamber where there is a hole in the ceiling. Use the hook and line from the first cave you explored when you first entered the sea cave. This will take you up to "Marten's area". Fight the boss there, and then search all the skeletons until you find the spike shoes. Equip them on a charachter, head west from the boss fight where the slippery rock is, place the plank, and enter Marten's tomb.
