"RE: Got the Idol, but a party member was kidnapped" Well, if you didn't kill him previously, all you have to do is go to him (he's in the Swamp, just go north and a little bit east from Marten's Bluff, and you'll find his hut all decorated with blue flowers on the outside). He'll ask you to kill a giant frog (named Brekek, or something like that), who is also located in the swamp, across the bridge and to the far east.
