LAST EDITED ON Mar-13-02 AT 07:59 AM (Pacific)You have the patch installed incorrectly. Some files in your wiz 8 directory are read only, and some unzip programs will not overwrite them. Unzip the patch into a different directory, and then manually copy it into the wiz 8 directory. Using winzip works too, because it will overwrite those read only files.
If your still having the crash problem, then you may ALSO have a corrupt file in the game (you definitely have the patch not installed correctly problem). There have been cases where the levels.slf file becomes corrupt. Copy the same file from CD 3 levels subdirectory and overwrite it on your hard drive.
If you still have problems, then reinstall, and repatch.
Llevram, don't you recognize these problem by now?
