Hi all,After all these years I decided to bust out my old copy of Wiz7 CotDS and have been having a great time playing. It's still pretty early in the game (on my way to Orkogre from New City) and things have been going well until earlier today.
Just some basic info:
Playing the old COTDS on Dosbox, not gold
Have been changing classes with other chars without problems,
My female Dracon started out as a mage, now is a thief and was to become a priest then bishop next. I have finally hit 12 points in Piety to change her to a priest but FOR SOME REASON THE GAME WILL NOT LET ME CHANGE!! actually no other classes are available to her when I click on her name...

So thinking maybe it would not let her change to a priets because of the cursed equipped item (poison dagger, not usable by priests) I got rid of the dagger, throwing it in a fight. I STILL was not able to change to priest after that...
Anyone have any ideas??
Do I need to learn the remove curse spell to truly get rid of the dagger? I though it would let her switch despite the curse item but maybe I was wrong. Or am I missing something else? Any help is welcome as it is a long way to level 9 and I really don't want my "dedicated" spellcaster ending up as a thief....
