Murwood (Guest) (1 posts) Dec-17-01, 11:37 AM (Pacific) "Multiclass and lost abilities" Hi all, Here's a dumb question, but one that's been nagging me. When you multiclass your characters, you lose some of their abilities. For example, I dualed Vi to Bard and found that I couldn't equip her polearms. The manual was pretty skimpy, but I infer that I'll get her polearm skill back when her Bard level equals her Valkrie levels, right? Thanks! Murwood   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Arands (Guest) (3 posts) Dec-17-01, 11:55 AM (Pacific) 1. "RE: Multiclass and lost abilities" Nope... Vi now has the skill bonuses and limitations of a Bard. I don't think it's actually dual-classing in the classic sense of the word. They say you can't go back to your former class once you've changed from one class to another. Not sure if it's true, but I'd strongly recommend not changing classes. I love the way this new game is set up. As for the polearm, she is now a bard & can't use them. If you find a polearm that can be used by a bard, you can equip and use it.
