"Raven`s Bill"
In Trynton, once one of the Trynnie patrolmen got killed in a fight with some wasps and an entire garden of death and dropped a Raven`s Bill halberd. I was wondering if it was worth keeping and giving to my valkyrie, as it is cursed and drains HP and she`s already weilding the two Burning Spears looted from the ratt Breeders, or should I just sell it?

Weilding two Burning Spears ? She can only equip (and use) one at a time. The other slot is for long range weapons like slings and bows.

I have avoided Ravens Bill since Wiz 6, and HP draining objects in general. Wiz 8 is more regen-friendly than Wiz 6 and 7, so if you have a lord or extra amulets of healing it should be relatively harmless.

To compare the Burning Spear to the Ravens Bill, click on the shield symbol to the left of the vitality and speed statistics in the upper right. This shows current weapon damage, initiative and to-hit stats. Now click the Ravens Bill onto the Burning Spear and see how the stats improve/drop.

Well, I just say she`s weilding both cause it makes me feel better. And a while ago I somehow got the general idea she must either use one pretty well or both of them because she gets like two, three hits a round in close combat and I`ve been upgrading her Dual Weapons skill lately.

And actually, I have both of them equipped at the same time.

3. "Primary/Secondary vs. Primary/Alternate weapons"
Though you have both equipped, they can not (legally) be equipped in the same "set". You have a primary set of weapons (i.e. a sword adn shield, or sword and dagger) and an alternate set (usually, as rbrown points out, used for ranged attacks).

In each set, you have a primary hand weapon and a secondary hand weapon. Spears (I think all of them, and most polearms) are Primary weapons (can't be used in the secondary hand) and most all are two handed weapons as well (which precludes the use of a shield or other weapon in that "set").
