"How to find those great weapons"
Helo, I am a guest in this forum. I just want to know about how and where to find the great weapons like *Light* Sword or Muramasa Blade (particularly those weapons which are the most effective ones for Samuarai-class)? Thanks a lot.

1. "Easy to find weapons"
The Muramasa blade is probably the easiest to find, of the best weapons. It is in Rapax Castle, you just have to find the right deposit slip, to use in the kings quarters, to get it.

The Light Sword is probably the most difficult to get. There are two places to get it in the Bayjin area: one of the huts treasure chests and the encounter (in Bayjin shallows) with the ghosts near the sunken ship. There is probably only about a 1% chance to get it at either spot.

That are many posts on both of these topics ... you can use the forums search feature to find more details.

2. "Which deposit slip?"

Huh?
The Muramasa blade is in the King's treasury? I have used all the slips from the constable's safe and the one from the queen's quarters (?) and got no muramasa blade.

So, Llevram - are you sure about that or is there a certain randomness? Or have I missed one deposit-slip (where?)?

3. "Sorry, it requires a slip ..."
... but is not from the treasury. You need to use the queen's slip, which allows access to the door in her room, where it (the blade) is. I am pretty sure it is a set item (Not random).

It must be random.

I've been through quite a lot of games and have always opened the chest in question, but never ever seen the Muramasa Blade.

5. "Optomistic ..."
I would say the chances of getting the Light Sword from the Bayjin chest is much higher than 1%. I would think up to 20%. I seem to get the sword there about 1 time in five. I've not had the patience required for the Buccaneers, though I did try about 30 times. My fighter is overjoyed to be swinging Light Sword and Diamond Eyes.
