MouseBoy (Guest) (0 posts) Dec-06-02, 01:20 PM (Pacific) "Some item questions" I'm back from a long sleep I've beaten Wizardry 8 twice and now my third time through Im using my fabled party. Wiz6 -> Wiz7 -> Wiz8 ( Btw... Its amusing as heck to think of each of the wizardry 8 characters with their current personalities back in those two games. Chaotic Lizardman Fighter freaking out in the dark dwarven mines back in Bane, and Giggling maniacially in the Dane Tower as the coffers blew up around him.. lol ) I find myself at a loss. The last two times through I never got any "Special super-dooper items" My level 27 warlord still uses Fang ( not that im knocking this blade, its awsome he does 115 x 3 in a good round. ) But I long to use the fabled Saber of *Light* again. (Why do they always put asterisks on the *Light* *Sword* ? I can imagine a beam of light coming from the sky every time someone says it...*holy voices* Ye Saber o' Light!) I know where to get the *Light* *Sword* so thats not a problem. Excalibur is in Davey Jones's Locker ( thats gonna be fun... reloading the nessie fight over, and over, and over.. *groan* ) But looking at www.Mindflay.com has brought up some interesting armor items I wish to get. So, if anyone knows their locations please, enlighten me. Platinum Greaves Infinity Helm ( Really want this one hehe ) Areil's Slippers ( Bard's almost got a full set of her own special "Bard only" gear, she needs some sandals to complete her onsomble) Robes of Rejuvination Trynnie Breast Plate Prospero's Cloak Odd that I haven't found them, maybe they are special drops off monsters I just haven't fought? Or maybe they are in the dungeons, which I really haven't been exploring because of a horrible scare I got when I fell through the floor and was crushed *shiver* The one and only, MouseBoy (I'm Baaack ;) )   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Maybe Chief Gari might drop it ... he does have that one-of-a-kind (I think) war sceptre. ... addendum ... Probably not, since it is not listed here: http://www.geocities.com/shau185/npclist.txt Must be some item in the game that you can't get.
