"Cane of Corpus"
I just got the CoC and gave it my FN, but i did'nt know that it is cursed.
Is there anyway to remove the CoC, because my Bishop could not handle it.
I was not able to give my FN a range weapon like a dart as a secondary weapon, the game says cursed item. Is there anyway to use a ranged weapon + CoC. A close Weapon was no problem + CoC.

1. "Can't mix range"
Whatever the range is in one hand, the range has to be the same for the other (so no close/thrown, close/extended combinations are allowed).

And if *as you have seen) an item is cursed, once you use it, you can not switch back and forth between your primary and alternate weapon selections.

There is a remove curse scroll, though it may not be powerful enough to remove it either ... you might be *stuck* with it for a while

If your party is high enough level to get the CoC, your bishop should have no trouble uncurseing it (it's a class function of bishops). Did you switch a character over to a bishop from a different class? I have to admit I've never had this problem with my bishops. Anyone else?

The power of the Bishop's un-curse ability is based on his/her level as a Bishop.

A level 1 Bishop will NOT be able to un-curse the Cane of Corpus.

I don't have any personal experience with the Cane of Corpus, not yet anyway. Soon, very soon though.

In one of my earlier games, I got a Poison Dagger from Burz's chest. I didn't realize it was cursed and my level 2 Bishop couldn't remove it. At first I thought I was doing something wrong but someone on the boards said that this built-in ability was level dependent. I didn't try to remove it again until my Bishop was at level 6. She was successful but she probably could've removed it before then.

If your Bishop doesn't have the spell (I wouldn't waste a spell pick on it though) wait until the next level and try again.

The CoC is the best FN weapon in the game. Why would you want to remove it?

Can't say I've tried a class change yet, but my thought in creating a Faerie Bard was to transfer to Ninja down the track and pick up the CoC. Considering the pain involved in levelling a ninja later, will it be possible to transfer to ninja, equip the CoC, then transfer back to bard.
The idea is that the CoC will (hopefully) stay with me as it is cursed and I can sing monsters to death from long range.
Will the cursed weapon remain equipped or has SirTech outsmarted me?

7. "Outsmarted ... or not"
Nope, you don't keep "wrong" items when you switch class. Of course you can use that to your advantage, to remove a cursed item ... though that is a bit drastic (the whole cut off your nose to spite yoru face thing ..)
