"Wandering Myles"
A level 22-23 team goes to Arnika for resupply and junk dumping. A group of slashers comes trotting out of the tower and my people can't resist a few quick points. Myles and a Higardi patrol go running out to meet them at the gap-in-the-wall while we stand back and practice fire bombs. After the battle Myles marches with the patrol for a few seconds then changes course. I leave and sell some stuff to Antone.

When I get near HLL HQ, I notice that Myles isn't walking his normal beat. He is on the big green lawn marching from the gap, 2/3 of the way to HeLi's then back again.

Is there something about a teams level that makes a fixed position NPC start moving around? I may have to revisit all the NPC's and see if I can get them to change their spot.

I had a similar experience with Myles (and we have seen it with Burz) that when an NPC (or RPC) gets involved with something that drags them out of there normal spot or pattern, they can't always find their way back.

NPC's are dumb. They can't remember where they came from or get lost or get bored. Maybe NPC's are Kender in disguise. They roam around after an encounter, they can't remember where they were and they have wanderlust. Hmm...(don't mind me, just bored)

I also had an occasion when Burz went downstairs in the Monastery for some fun... he almost got killed in the process, the kender bastard! And if he would, I'd be left without ammo for all the way to Arnika...

Hint-hint...

He did that to me a month ago. Where did he finally wind up? IF he went to the same place my Burz went to, it may be a planned behavior. My team was level 22-24 at the time, what level was your team ?
