"T'rang"
Just met the T'Rang, and they went bollistic when they figured out I worked for the Umpani, but I've only been in One room had to kill Z'ant. I can't seem to go anywhere. Its the first room you enter in Martens Bluff Lower Regions. Any Ideas?

First of all what level are you? Killing Z'Ant is no easy task...
Go back up to Marten' Bluff and get the T'Rang hand (if you dont know how to do it read on). Go over to the catpult on the western side, you will most likely be greeted by some fiendy Apuses. Click on the catapult arm to make it fling over. Run up it and return to the other side of the gate that IS NEAR THE CATAPULT. There will be a dead T'Rang-grab his hand on the ground and the wires. Go back down and use the hand on the door on the other side of the room from Z'Ant.
BTW There will be a few fights coz you're prob hostile with T'Rang
There is also the Idol...
(You are a newbie aren't you? lol if you're not, I just wasted my time)

A Newbie to Wizardry 8 yes, but my guys and Gals are averaging 16th level. The lowest being Madras who I picked up later on. After Myles did my head in. Alas I won't miss him especially since he didn't appreciatte me picking his pocket and now resides in Heaven or Hell. Just a thought is Crock nearby he's eluding me at the mo!

Crocks in the swamp. Just before that have you got the Idol? You should grab that before going to him. One of the levers at the top of Marten's Bluff opens the doors opposite it. Up the top in one of the rooms is the idol. Grab the idol, and one of your party members will go mising (gee, Crock?)
Ok go back to the swamp from Marten's bluff the normal way. Go right at the first T junction, and follow it North-East past Steel Hide (who you'll probably be able to kill at clvl 15-16) and go East at the next T. Follow that road to Crock's house.
Next is the missing party member (dont read on if you dont like spoilers). Crock will ask you to kill Brekek the frog. Leave his house and go back to that secont T. Go North to a bridge. Follow that road past the huts on the left (you may want to search them), to a North-South T. Go south. You'll know Brekek when you see him
I'm really sick of T's

Thanks for your help. In the Umpanni Base at the Moment looking for Sgt Rubble after finding the broken Training Machine.

If you fixed it he is straight ahead. If you haven't go around back and play with wires then use your card again he will be straight ahead.

Naw not looking for a walk through, its just I would never have thought of fixing the wires especially when I touched them I got a shock! I already spent all last night looking for another set of wires, like in the T'rang base. So thought I'd have to find someone else to fix it for me.

Don't beat yourself up. My first time through the game I don't know how many days I spent looking for some kind of guard post because of what had been said by Sgt. Balbrek. I finally had to look it up in this forum. If you get stuck use the search function at the top of the page and don't forget to check off the little square asking if you want to search the archives. Rick and Marc have set up an awesome BB/game information source here with links to other sites in these threads. THE TRUTH (about Wiz8) IS OUT THERE, use it when you need it.
