"Umpani Flag not for sale?"
Following a month's layoff to work on hardware (inconclusive results), I backed up to the first quarter to re-start without losing the chance to play both Umpani & T'Rang sides, but this time the flag isn't for sale? (In case anyone adds up days from the first time I joined this forum wondering how I've not finished, remember that I get so many hardware lockups when starting Wiz8 that it slowed me down and is discouraging to say the least.)

Anyone see it missing before? Do I have to leave the Mt. Gigas area for the store inventory to reset?

naw, naw, naw skip all that reloading garbage and sleeping crap, go to where the Umpani has the flag on the pole (outside the compounds) and there should be a lever where the flag comes down. Pull on the leaver and click on the flag, tada.. now you have the umpani flag.

That is an alternative, though one that seems (for many people) to trigger the Umpani becoming much less friendly.

Being very careful and sneaky is extremely important in this factor my friend. I stole the flag many times from its pole and never was caught. Besides what consequences can you actually face if in fact the Umpani desides to dislike you.. none. They possess no threat in one's quest in defeating the Dark Savant, all they offer is exp. points for completing quests against the T'Rang. I finished the game once without the help of the Umpani and T'Rang, then another time with the help of the Umpani. So like I said, whether they like you or not, it doesn't matter in your quest.
