"carring items... disadvantage...?"
Are there disadvantages when your party carries lots of items... or not...?

My party carries loads... but I'm always anxious to trow items away...

Do caracter stats improve when dropping items...?

Thanks in advance,
T.

Yes, the load you are carrying affects many aspects of
game play including stamina regeneration and combat efficiency.
I suggest you sell or stash items at every opportunity.

green text in your char's stats indicates negative effects...usually from weight. for instance, if the weight is displayed 100/175 in green, youre overburdened, and your AC and some other stats are likely also green.

other than selling like Sphynx said, you can check how much weight each char has. mouse-over their weight, and it should tell you how much of it is theirs, and how much is the party's. if they're not burdened, throw more in their inventory to lessen the load of other party members. RFS is the usual reference for this...he's typically a pack-horse since monk's don't equip much.

Caution: When selling items to reduce weight penalty!!!
I have been seling off unwanted items that I have found throught the early part of the adventure, both to reduce weight and to raise much needed gold. Items such as musical items because I was not playing with a Bard. Much to my suprise I found a Bard "Saxx" at the Umpani camp and desided to recrute him. I then went back to the merchants to buy back those items (some good items at that) and could not relocate those items. Though those items were worth much GP, I now think it might have been better to drop them in a room some where and retrevie them later.
It is possible to raise GP in other ways. Spoil... search Alchmey 101
Also, beside the Bard items, there are some good Gadgeteer items to be found and if you don't play with a GT there is one to be found later that you can recrute (so I have been told,,, I'm haven't found him yet).

Thanks
MM

true dat

thats why sphynx (hope i spelled that right) mentioned storing items. that goes for ANYTHING...musical items, weapons, armor etc. gotta plan ahead...which is hard to do very early in the game.

5. "Just toss them (and remember where)"
If you just drop items, they are safe - they will always be there again (unless you drop them in a hole, off a cliff, etc.) If you see them, you might never get them back, due to NPCs recycling their inventory.

You have 472 party Item slots. If you use all slots, No Room appeared on your screen.
