"Importable Items?"

Morthal (Guest) (24 posts) Dec-05-01, 04:55 AM (Pacific) "Importable Items?" I really would like to know which items can be imported from CoDS to Wizardry 8. I'm just doing the Gorrors, Ra already dead and now I stand in front of still closed Thingie's chest. Seems that you can get anything special, grabbed Mantis Boots, a Raven's Bill and Maenad's Lance from the first chest. Now I wonder, will my Muramasa import to W8 or should I keep that 2nd Avenger? Please fill me in if you have a list or experience with that. My party that I imported from Bane consists of (never changed profession): Lvl.22 Elf Samurai - Muramasa Blade / Wakizashi +1 Lvl.22 Human Valkyrie - The Avenger / Bec De Corbin Lvl.22 Felpurr Ninja - *Light**Sword* / Ninjato Lvl.22 Gnome Psionic - Cat'O Nine Tail Lvl.22 Dracon Mage - Cat'O Nine Tail Lvl.22 Mook Priest - Holy Basher Got some other stuff like Maenad's, Raven's Bill, Cobaltine Powerglove, *Light**Shield*, Vulcan Hammer, ... Would be nice to know what I can take with me to Wiz 8 before killing more Gorrors and opening more of that chests, prolly the last chance in 7 to get something really special. Sphynx (Guest) (0 posts) Dec-05-01, 06:35 AM (Pacific) 1. "RE: Importable Items?" Your Ninjato and Bec de Corbin will trasfer. I don't think anything else on your list will. Get your Ninja a pair of Sai or Nunchaku. They are both better items to import than ninjato. Bows and magical arrows are much more important in Wiz8 and I they import smoothly. Best armour I was able to bring was Jazeraint Tunic/skirt Chamail +2 and Mitre de Sanct. P.S. I am not sure about Vulcan Hammer or Holy Basher. "RE: Importable Items?" *sniff*...after reading your reply and some related posts on this and other boards I think none of the mega-weapons will transfer. Mystery Ray and Elven Bow seems to be the only elite items that do plus some armor like Jaizerain Tunic (hope I spelled that right). Seems I have to make a list when the game finally is available here (about 12/8). I stored one piece of any weapon/armor that I found in W7 xept for the really low ones. zaphod (0 posts) Dec-05-01, 06:45 PM (Pacific) 5. "RE: Importable Items?" I imported 4 great bows the elvin bow and 60 peacemakers. The Naginita(sp.)--the monk spear also transfered. Have to spread out the peacemakers since 247 per party member transfered as 10 per member. Give a non elf the elvin bow before importing and you could bring in more great bows.
