"Critical throws"
I made a Fairy Ninja, thinking her Thrown Critical added to her Critical Strikes would make her usefull in the back ranks. At lvl 10, she has yet to make a critical kill. She has lvl 50+ for Critical Strike, Throwing and sling, and Ranged Combat. Where did I go wrong?
And since I gave her the CoC, she wont use her thrown stuff. Any way to fix that without removing it?

dex, senses and speed are very important for throwing and crits. you don't mention how high those are.

its best if you concentrate on one style to build up. if you want her using shuriken and darts, then pump all the associated skills up. if you want coc, then you should be building up dual weapons, wand and staff.

i find it best to decide which style i want and build up for it from the beginning. its hard at the beginning to try to slam 2 such different skills (with all the things that go with them) to the max. it gets too frustrating. later on, you can build up a second set of skills once she masters the one set.

and the coc is like any other cursed weapon. once you wield it, you can't use ranged. you can, however, throw powders and bombs! so stock up on those!

personally, i have no problem with cursed items. but it helps knowing in advance that a certain weapon is cursed, so that you can plan your skills accordingly.

Has anyune else noticed that the border around a cursed item (even an unidentified cursed item) in inventory is ALWAYS darker than an uncursed item?
