I'm a Wizardry veteran (well, only 6 and 7), but there are some questions in Bane that I still haven't been able to answer. Some I've found on this board, but others haven't been addressed. Any ideas?
1- In the swamp (where the caterpillar lives), there is an area where you see some tiny footprints leading off into the brush. I've tried just about everything here, and nothing happens. Does anybody remember anything special about his spot. My biggest idea was to use a Red Mushroom here, but all that happened was that I wasted a mushroom. There must be some reason he sells you three even though you can only "get small" once in the game?
2- Even though the literature says that the game supports VGA, no matter what whatever computer I try to install the game on, it won't give the option to install using anything better than EGA. Not the game looks _bad_ in EGA, I've played it that way many times, but it would be nice to see it in VGA this time; give it a bit of "new-ness". Anybody have any such problem? And yes, the computer the game is on and its graphics card definitely support VGA.
I think there were some other question about the game play, but I can't remember. I know I saw a list of wiz6 items and realized I'd never seen a bunch of them.
