Asrial (228 posts) Dec-30-04, 01:17 AM (Pacific) "Concern Over Lack of Artifacts" Areas I haven't explored... All of the sea caves, Rapax Areas, Mountain Wilderness, unexplored area of Mt. Gigas, Ascension Peak areas. I have not found any 'artifact' level items (IE: Excalibur, Light Sword, various other items). I smacked down Nessie, pillaged Davy Jones' locker, and freed the buccaneer's but nothing special has been acquired. Am I missing something?   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: What You're Missing" Doing the replay trick (saving before you talk to Janerre on Bayjin or the Buc Ghosts in the Shallowa) can net you a "Light Shield and Sword, but you have to do a LOT of resets.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Asrial (228 posts) Jan-04-05, 10:45 PM (Pacific) 3. "RE: What You're Missing" Mmm, looking over Ferro's inventory.. kinda wishing I didn't go splurging on the Cloak's and Spears from Bela. Also wishing I didn't do the Templar quest yet so I could fight Rapax until the cows come home. I don't have old school artifacts (light sword, light shield, Excalibur, etc) unless you count the Crux of Crossing an artifact (since you can't sell it OR drop it, damned thing). I can't wait for my 2nd time through the game, going to go back into Wiz 7 and do some more things. I do, however, have alot of kickass gear now that I really look at it. The rogue with Fang, fighter with The Mauler and Diamond Eyes, plenty of high AC armor. I miss the Light Sword the most though. I'll try it again specifically on the inside of the lid. EDIT: It works, thanks for the tip! Finally got rid of the Crux of Crossing and Longstem Spade, heh.
