Dave (Guest) (0 posts) Jan-19-06, 10:29 AM (Pacific) "Wizardry 8 not loading on laptop" Trying to play wizardry 8 on my sony viao laptop, using a geforce 6400 video card. The game just doesnt load it just stays at desktop and if i try using the no cd exe i get a illegal error. The game runs fine on my desktop, both are using win xp pro with framework 2.0. i did update to 1.2.4 , im guessing its a esecure rom issue? anyone please help!!!   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: Wizardry 8 not loading on laptop" thanks for the reply yah tried that , didnt do anything, im willing to bet anything its the securom, but even the nocd exe doesnt work, well it gets an illegal error.
