canimodo (0 posts) Dec-10-05, 01:16 PM (Pacific) "Best Weapons for Ninja" My ninja is 10 honor, but totally lousy in combat. I gave him a basic sword, but he barelly get 7 hit points when he hits . . . Is it better to have him bare handed ? sphynx (14 posts) Dec-11-05, 02:09 AM (Pacific) 1. "RE: Best Weapons for Ninja" Nunchaka are very nice in Wiz-8. Definitely better than bare-handed for a ninja (monks do better bare-handed). My preferred weapons so far though are the Enchanted Katana and Enchanted Wakizashi. However, I often find myself using nunchaku still. Don't forget that a ninja's strength is suppose to be in his throwing. He gets bonus to criticals, so shuriken, when you can find them, and darts when you can't are good. If you've worked on his Critical Strike skill, he'll kill most creatures his level or lower on a pretty high percentage. However, all in all, I think the Ninja is the weakest of the specialized fighter types. Unless of course, you have a Fairy Ninja with the Cane of Corpus. Best weapon for the Ninja is the *Light* *Sword* btw. Not sure how common it is, I found mine along with its *Light* *Shield* counter part in the B-Shallows, just sitting on a beach protected only by one very weak Sentry. "RE: Best Weapons for Ninja" If you are playing with Lana's mods----you can definitly emphasize a throwing ninja; Also, you can have a Ninja dual wield some really awesome swords dropped by Djinn's; and the spears and maces have also been upgraded. Or, you can have a ninja wield the Flame Staff. I think that that is the best non-modified and non-cursed staff a ninja can use.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
