Kuli (206 posts) Sep-14-03, 10:06 PM (Pacific) "Guardian of the Rock" Hello there, every couple of years I just HAVE TO play Bane again. At the moment I'm hanging around blue mountain and encountered the Guardian of the Rock, whom I usually kill to get the Ruby he's guarding. This time I managed to enter negotiations by "feeding" him with a heavy boulder (he asks for a sacrifice and thinks, that the boulder is very tasty... ). It is then possible to talk to him like to any other NPC My question: Is there a way to acquire the Ruby without killing the Guardian? Like saying some "magic words?"
