"Bane Sound on Win2k"
Close to finishing the game, i changed my options from sound off/off to on/on. Now I can't begin the game because it appears that i can't play sound and it locks up at the "sirtech" screen.

Since I can't get into the game, I can't change the configuration back to "off/off". Any suggestions? I looked for a "config-type" file in explorer to manually edt, but can find none.

Thanks!

Jersey

happened to me too, what i did was re-install bane. you probably only need to re-install one file, though... as to what that file is? my guess - scenario.dbs... but it could be any number of files.
good luck!

Fairly simple actually. Just re-run the setup program. It should be in your Bane directory. That should give you the ability to change it.

And as a side note, there are programs out there that will allow the sound to work. Take a search on www.download.com for some.

Thanks - reinstalling did the trick! I was worried because it told me i'd lose my characters, but it turns out i didn't!
