Dandiphoot (48 posts) Mar-21-09, 03:53 AM (Pacific) "Another Xen Xheng thing" As I mentioned in another thread I'm playing CoDS with an imported party from Bane (I'm Umpani ally, having arrived with Bela)... I met Xen Xheng the normal way having left the Dreamland - he is telling me about the 5 flowers, to pick them and bring them to him - as it usually goes. (I don't have them yet) But surprisingly, he almost left the dojo after that. Entering the room behind him there is already a 5-flower-belt (without the special ability). I'm confused now as i don't remember it to happen that way when I played it "regularly" (or with another import-start). I remember that he stays there till the 5 flowers are brought to him and then there is the 5-flower-belt with the special skill. Does anybody know how this is meant to turn out? emeraldFN (29 posts) Mar-21-09, 11:28 AM (Pacific) 1. "RE: Another Xen Xheng thing" You receive a Blackbelt of five flowers from the chest, and it only gives -3 to AC. YActually you can't bring the flowers to him, he's gone (although he'll haunt you later, perhaps while you are busy trying to solve some puzzles and wouldn't need the interruptions). You must merge the flowers together (there will be a note about it in the Dojo if you come there later) and you'll get the special skill.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: Another Xen Xheng thing" Actually the belt gives you not only -3 to AC (which is very good BTW), but also 40% Light, 40% Death resistances (light resistance is particularly great in a fight against the beast of 1000 eyes and death resistance is very rare and characters do not develop it during level ups).
