"RE: Push Button" I've only ever seen the "(push button)" message pop up at the bottom of the screen to tell you that you actually did push the button...either by clicking the button itself or by choosing "search" when facing a wall with one. "RE: Push Button" I've had that message pop up rather quickly myself. for me it was a bit of a pain since it WAS fast, however, you shouldn't worry about it. If you've either "searched" or simply pushed the button, look around the area. If you've done it in the Castle in the basement/lower level 1, the gate will open, etc. Either way, you will know.
