"i know you are all sick of hearing this, but i need help with dos box" |
I have a problem. I have a really old version of the game that i got in like 1996 on a CD-ROM. I am using dos box, on a 1.76 ghz amd machine with 768 megs of ram. I have gone through all of the strings i can find in here and still don't understand my problem. ds is in C:dsavant, in that directory i have scenario.hdr and pcfile.dbs. The games startup file Play.bat is on the cd wich of course is in d:w7. The problem i'm having is that when i type play, i get a sytem error message that says unable to open scenario.hdr. As far as i can tell from what i have read in this forum which has been a ton, im doing everything correctly. pleas help!!!!!my dosbox conf file is as follows
