"dosbox and disk error"

Tauschitz (Guest) (0 posts) Mar-26-06, 08:20 AM (Pacific) "dosbox and disk error" I have gotten dosbox to work in playing the game, but I am unable to load my old saves or create new saves. Every time I attempt to do so I get a "disk error". I have searched the boards and seen that one other person had this proble, but the solution he was provided was so vague (for a non-computer expert) that I cannot get the fix to work. My Dsavant file is located in C\dsavant My DOSBOX program runs from C\program files So how can i get the damned thing to recognize the savegmames? Could I get a more detailed explanatuion? As it is currently I type the following to get the game to run: "mount c c:\dsavant c: ds" This gets the game going, but without permitting me to load or save. So what do I need to add here? "RE: dosbox and disk error" The problem is that it looking in C:\dsavant which when it translates onto your computer it is looking at C:\dsavant\dsavant change to mount c c:\ then cd dsavant then ds that should make all the paths work.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
