"scroll speed"
I am new to this forum so please bear with me as I am sure my question has been asked before. I Wizardry Gold I encounter any NPC, in conversation their dialog scrolls so fast that even before I can touch the keyboard the message is terminated with only the last two or three lines showing. I have reinstalled the software with the same result.

How does one slow the message response from NPC (& other) so that I can read what they are saying?

Hitting the spacebar, as the HELP suggests, does not work. Can anyone tell me how to stop the scrolling so that I can ready it two or three lines at a time?

1. "RE: scroll speed"
Under "Configuration" you can set your "Game Settings", personally I set my "Text Delay Settings" to 100 (highest it can get) and "Combat Delay Settings" to about 32.

Your answer is there...

And for more answers may I suggest the Search Feature on this forum you can find the answer to almost any question related to any of the Wizardry Games and even more in some circumstances. Good Luck.
