I've decided to reinstall Wiz8 and try doing a solo hardcore game - the first will be with an elf ninja -> bishop/ranger and the 2nd I might try with a F/N. I reinstalled WizGold so that I could import characters with spear of death, ninja garbs, and the elven bow to get past the tedious first 10 levels more quickly. I downloaded the now free WizGold editor (which is awesome) but I'm a little confused b/c it seems you can't edit race, profession, or mana pools... I KNOW I found some random WizGold editor however many years ago that was free that allowed you to do everything (items, all stats, etc.).
So I was just wondering why those things were left out of this editor from software specialties.
It's funny, I just read the exact answer to your question yesterday, when I was filling an order (first one in about a year). So, if one were to Read The Fine Manual ... you would come across this passage (Section: 1.6 Intent):

As for other "missing" features, I won't give your character a sex change, and no DNA-splitting or gene-splicing to switch races either. If you need changes that drastic, I suggest you start a new game, with the character types you really want.
I think Mad God's editor will do all those other things ...
Really, my intent with the editor was to give you easy shortcuts to get the things you were determined to get ... and fix things that got broken.
