Joey Nipps (66 posts) Dec-18-01, 01:12 PM (Pacific) "Ascension Peak Help Please" I have made it through Rapax Rift and am now at Ascension Peak. I defused the bomb in Arnika. All I see are three doors with keyholes and a main statue of three critters in the middle. I have nobody in the group with Lockpick ability - am I screwed? I assume I must get beyond each door to use the items, but I see no way for my group to get beyond. My strongest fighter has only 1% chance to break the lock - and the game doesn't seem to give it to you if you only have 1% chance. "RE: Ascension Peak Help Please" Not quite there is a way, you need 2 teleports, set one in Ascention Peak and one in Arnika, teleport back to Arnika and pick up Myles teleport back to Ascention Peak (he wont follow you the normal way) and with some knocks spells and Myles and a lot of patience the problem should be solved.... "RE: Ascension Peak Help Please" Or, if you only have one character with a portal spell, set in Rapax Castle right by the portal to Ascension Peak (you dont have to set it there, but the Rapax at some point will become hostile to you and it can be a bitch getting around that castle when they are hostile). Grab Myles in Ankira, teleport back to Rapax and then use the teleport there to enter the peak.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
