lemongoose (Guest) (0 posts) Dec-15-01, 12:53 PM (Pacific) "help w/ nessie" There has been something posted on this forum about a certain item that you get after nessie. I don't want to say anything about it, since it could be a possible spoiler, also, ppl who have played the game know exactly which item i am talking about. My questions are these: is it in the chest; does the item in question spawn when you open the chest, as soon as nessie dies, or when you come to the area; is it in the chest at all? I ask the last question because I've killed nessie well over fifteen times, and get the exact same items in the chest every time. NiteTime (Guest) (0 posts) Dec-15-01, 01:26 PM (Pacific) 2. "RE: help w/ nessie" Don't thing you have to worry too much about the spoiler thing, this is the right board for it so no worries. Davey Jones Locker has many differant types of really cool stuff in there. It is spawned after your FIRST loading of the Bayjin Shallows. So save before you take the swim, you may have to fight Nessie more then once, but also all those ghosts & other guys to get there.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: help w/ nessie" I have a Nessie question as well concerning Davy Jone's Locker, this is the spoiler board so here goes, I have killed her about 15-20 times, (lost track), and I have my save right before my first time going into the Bayjin shallows, I have gotten everything ranging from junk to nice armour, rings, axe of runes, etc. What I really want is the *light* *sword*, I am not into using editors and such, but not above a little judicious save/reload to get that great chest full of goodies. the best sword I have gotten so far is Excalibur, which is a nice weapon, but has anybody got the *light* *sword* to pop up in Davy Jone's Locker???? or is Excalibur the best that it's going to get?? Not looking forward to slaying Nessie again and again, but I'm in serious need of upgrading my weapons, I currently use bloodlust and demonsbane, I am taking slow, about lvl 15-16, and Nessie was not too much trouble w/ superman potions, soul shield/element shield, etc. It just takes so long and I am thinking I should just be happy w/ Excalibur and move on, Any help would be appreciated!
