"Learn how to improve communication"
I just discovered this: if you pickpocket a npc and get caught, he doesn't trade with you (unless, in some cases, he fights you, but is rare). Then, you may try the friendly aproach. With this option, you improve the communication level many times. It works on and on, for periods of 2 complete rests. If the npc falls for you and trades again, you just have to pickpocket him again until get caught...

Seeing how you brought it up, is there a need for communication really? I've never put points into it and I've never seen where it's helped me to learn something all that vital. Of course there's a possiblity that I'm missing something and don't know about it Thoughts?

It boosts the prices you get when you sell things. up to a preset maximum.

By practicing ticking off the NPCs, they end up liking you more and pay better prices when you sell back the stuff you stole from them in the first place

Each vendor has a pre-set limit on their buy and sell prices. Based on the Communications skill.

For example:

A Bard with a "natural" skill of 40 in communications and coupled with the 25% bonus that he/she gets will get 5,000 gold for a Renewal Potion from He'Li. Then go to Braffit with the same and he'll give you less. Go all the way back to the Monestary and Burz will give you even less than Braffit.

Excellent, I never knew that. Good to know it's not a complete waste and there is still much to learn
