"Venom Crab Shells"
I am trying to get a Venom Crab Shell - and although I have encountered numerous Venom Crams outs side the "Upper" Monastry - none of them ever leave a shell.

Is there a reason for this?
or a better place to fine venom crabs?
or a way to ensure they leave a shell behind?

Thanks

Make sure you search carefully after battles, use your radar to look for spots on the ground. Remember, it has to say it's a venom crab when you fight it to get a shell. If an item is required to make an item, you should always find at least one of the item no matter how many foes you fight.

Though they are required items, there is no way to guarantee a drop. They are just a certain % chance to drop. Next time you see some crabs coming, do a quick save. Then, if they are venoms and you don't get a drop, you can just reload until you do.

They are not uncommon in the Bayjin area.

4. "Bayjin Area"
If you are just getting out of the Monastery you shouldn't think about Bayjin.

There are two entrances, from Mt Gigas and from the Northern Swamp.
