"General Yamir"
I go to Bayjin and clear the island of all the baddies. I find Glumph and Jan Ette (who dies immediately) and Glumph joins my party. I go into the Bayjin Shallows until I see "Nessie" and I decide that discretion is the better part of valor so I return back to Bayjin. Since I really didn't know what to do next and since Glumph kept insisting on going back up to Mt Gigas I decided to go up there.

Now, the last time I was up at Mt Gigas I was sent to Sgt Rubble for some training and I got a level 3 security clearance. However, when I went to find Sgt Rubble I was getting my a$$ handed to me by those damn spiders ... which was why I ended up in Bayjin (since I had nothing better to do and I couldn't find Rubble or defeat the spiders).

Okay, so I go back into Mt Gigas. I was briefly puzzled by the broken computer thing so I explored that whole level (what I could get at) and the level below that (with the restricted area and the cave ins etc). After exploring everything I go back, figure out the broken computer, and finally find Sgt Rubble for the training who tells me "Glumph you look like you've been dragged behind a rocket! Go see the General at once!" He won't train me at all because I have Glumph with me. I notice that I can get into the sea caves, but that just ends up at Nessie again. Anyway, I can't find that dang General anywhere and I'm stuck!!!!! I figure he must be in the Ops area but I need a level 5 pass to get in there and I'm figuring that I need the training to get the higher security clearance??

1. "One option"
Go join the trang and do their quests until you get the fake cleance to the generals quarters.

Or maybe just let Glumph die, then meet up with Rubble .... ?

6. "RE: One option"
I decided not to do the rest of the T'Rang missions until I was finished with the Rapax since the Rapax Templars are neutral towards me (as I haven't squished the Rapax Assassin yet - he is standing in the squishing room awaiting his execution though)

2. "Can't you..."
...just let Glumph out of your party?

And just recruit him after you finish your training.

3. "Glumpf"
I thought the sergeant carried a level 5 pass with him. I also thought that Sgt Balbrak gives you a level 5 after the rocket speech.

4. "RE: Glumpf"
No, Sgt Rubble only gives you a level 4 pass, Sgt. Blaback(sp?) gives you a level 5 pass after the Mook alliance, the General gives you a level 6 pass for the Glumph mission.

5. "RE: General Yamir"
I actually solved my dilemma shortly after posting this. I did briefly consider dropping Glumph and then picking him back up, but I read somewhere on the net that you can't recruit him back if you drop him from your party. Finally I figured that I would try visiting with Balbrak at the recruiting center just to see what happens. Balbrak gets into a rather extended dialog with Glumph and then tells us to go see the General. He then gives us a level 5 pass saying that we would 'need this to see him'. After visiting Yamir he gives me the mission to take out the T'Rang teleporter (which I probably won't do). On my way out of Mt Gigas I stop by Balbrak's office again and he gave me the Mook Alliance letter. However, Rubble disappeared from the firing range after I spoke with the General so about the only thing now is that I can't fire X weapons at the dummies. I guess once I get the level 5 security pass I don't need the training?

7. "Isn't it wonderful?"

It is not so easy to trick this game, is it? You'll always find a way out!

Though I didn't get the "diamond - quest" from Myles, I think because I killed the rogues and got the diamond pretty early in the game. Any ideas?

If you still have the Diamond from the Rogue camp, give it to the Bank Teller in Arnika. I forget exactly what the reward is though. Some cash and exp points but don't remember how much of each.

Save the game right before handing it over in case you'd rather sell it instead.

9. "RE: Isn't it wonderful?"

I sold it to He'Li, but I think that she still has the Diamond in stock. I'll try what you suggest, though it doesn't make much sense to me: completing a quest that the party doesn't have...

Remembers me of Darkstone (Diablo - Clone): Every now and then the hero finds special items in the dungeons and some time later some villager tells a story of a missing item. So you take a look into the backpack, producing the item, saying: "You are not looking for this one, are you?"
