1. "Whenever it is cleared"
I always leave as soon as I have cleared out the monastery of all monsters ... no need to stick around, with a whole planet (and universe) to save

Yes, get out while you can!!! The lower your level leaving the lower the level of the monsters you will meet( mostly, there is some randomness). At level 8, Arnika road can be tough, but I just made it with a level 7 Randomly Generated Ironman team. But then I have been down that road at least 75 times.

6. "beta"
The Beta Testers got Wizardry 8 9 months before us. They were sworn to secrecy in exchange for getting the raw buggy game after the in-house programmers THOUGHT it was flawless. They played it, reported bugs directly to the programmers and got fixes within hours/days. They risked their jobs and marriages for us and we don't care, we whine anyway.

Not me, thats you. I am an addicted restarter. Never can find a party I am really happy with by level 12 - 15. Always think I could have done better. I am real good for the first 1/2 of the game.
