I am new to wiz8, played wiz VII some, but wanted to see some cool new 3D stuff. Its great. Well so far so good with the game, I walk around exploring and find cool items. In Arnika I went walking and eventually found the wheel key. I found some endurance necklaces (2) also around the same general area. Nice cause I got Vi and the lady Iona (a bard who comes with game). Here are my questions: I have made a very big change, Iona(with game) I have playing, she is/was a bard THEN at level 8 I changed her to a ninja, her music was at 30. She is doing nicely improving her critical hits, martial arts, etc. This is probably because she has 67 for senses. She improves throwing and stuff quickly. Where can I get some Ninja garb, she is naked ???????????? When will she get her 1st critical strike on some monster????? ---- when on average does critical strike kick in ???????? she is at 20 right now, but still doesn't have a critical strike. When did you first get your critical strike (tell me) ????? more stuff: upper monastery - glass room faerie stick I want that faerie stick, so do I break the glass with that ding bell in the set to #3 is that how I get that faerie stick ???????????????????? thanks, sf   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Is she that ugly??? Crock in the swamp east of Trynton usually has ninja clothes. You might want to change her back to bard before you walk from Arnika to Arnika-Trynton Road to Trynton to the Swamp. Criticals appear to be related to your level compared to the monsters level, with the absolute critical skill and dexterity and senses and weapons skill thrown in. She will eventually start getting them. Concentrate on building her alchemy via potion-mixing until her next level-up, then switch her back to ninja. You won't be able to build spells once she is a bard casting alchemy spells. Class changing was fun in Wiz 6 and 7. "RE: wiz8 newB - my ninja, other stuff, upper monastery, faerie stick" with my faerie ninja I get crit kill all the time the first time was in the monarsty and I was lev 2 and now I lev 19 and get crit kills in just about every fight including tough ones like Don barlone I got a crit agianst him when he had over 150 hp left. Im playing solo with my ninja and you go up levs realy quickley. When you get about lev 15 you start to get triple the amount of crit. But for me I got alot at lev 8 becouse his crit strike skill was 125 and stealth was 100 martial arts is 90 I dont ever use martial arts any more becouse I have the CofC and it rocks it is porbley the best weapon in the game It taks probley about 3 turns to kill a battering hogar becouse the Cofc Can paralize and poisen anything it dose about 100 damage per attack sometimes and sometimes when you paralize the enemy you can get like 200 damage In one shot I havent fought nessie yet but when I do I'll probley have to reload a few times if she uses that earthquake spell and she dose alot so Im probley going to get to about lev 22-25 bafore I go and kill her and if I still get wasted ill try and skip her andgo to Bayjin even know it is probley a worse place to go but I will need to train alot before I can go back and fight her.
