Moulin Rogue (Guest) (36 posts) Mar-31-02, 05:29 PM (Pacific) 1. "RE: weapons" Never bothered getting Light Sword, so can't help ya there... Excalibur (not so hot) is randomly in "Davy Jone's Locker," a chest in the big underwater "clearing" where you fight Nessie. Muramasa, supposedly, is randomly found in a chest in the Queen's chambers in the Rapax Castle, although I can't personally confirm. Timothy (Guest) (0 posts) Apr-01-02, 01:11 PM (Pacific) 3. "RE: weapons" I must be the luckiest guy to play the game. This is my first try at the game and I am almost at the end. I have been stuck a few times and used this forum to help me out. I have read about the weapons and what it takes to get them. The first time to the Island I got the Light sword. It is worth trying to get.I got a hole bunch of other stuff lots of points. I then went to Davey jones locker and got excaliber. Higher levels I get 3 hits 3 swings with both. I got the Death ray, Mystery ray. Neat Weapons from the queen and the Guy Who starts you on your quest to become a Templar. I am loaded down with dread spears and other stuff. I am beginning to think there is a bug in my game. It seems any weapon anyone has talked about I have, and yea I have the Corpus cane. Just no one to use it. Sorry this is so long. P.S. If you keep reloadnig, you'll keep getting the same stuff. I heard someone say that if you left the area, and went back a while later, the chest will regenerate, but I tried that and it didn't work for me.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Suber stuff chests contents are set when you enter a scene, regular is the familar save-reload before opening. I'll vefiry that tonight. "Results inconclusive" The only decent saved game I could find where I was *near* a chest seemed to be set, no matter what (3 Hv Heal, Superman, and 18 Hunter Quarrels).
