"Looking for the loading screens..."
Hello.

Does anyone know where can I download the Arnika loading screen (the one with the angel)? I want to use it as my wallpapaer, and yet I have not found an image with good resolution. I have tried using PrintScreen, but it does not work.

Thanks for your attention,
Erasculio

1. "Hi there"
This has been asked before and I don't think that I have heard anyone say that they have been able to "extract" one of the loading screens from the program.

You can, however, download a composite of four loading screens from Sir-Tech at the main Wizardy 8 web site.

There is a program called SLF editor from a user named ObverseReaction that used to post here. With this cool prog you can extract any picture, sound or speech from the SLF files to a bmp or mp3, including the loading screens.

However the website where you can download it is now gone. Try his email address cpommer@accessv.com. If he doesn't answer, mail me your address and I'll email the program to you.

If you go to //download.cnet.com (I think thats it) you can find a prog called EXEtractimages. This does the same sort of thing as described above. It gets images and icons out of exe, dll, and ocx files. If this doesn't work though, I have no idea.

Strange -- it worked for me just now when I tried it.
