I have just started my 3rd game. I was either going to iron man it with a conventional party or a solo Faerie Ninja, I decided on the latter at least termporarily - reason - cane of corpus and the irony of it, a "faerie ninja.Level 6 in 1 hours game play and not even into the upper monastry yet? It is bloody hard work though. Poor damage making ability, poor stamina, lowish hit points - phew.
In addition what does one work on? Strength - to help damage, piety to help stamina, vitality to help those hit points, speed dexterity and senses to increase attacks and initiative, or intelligence to fast track magic when it becomes available. Let me tell you a solo faerie ninja needs them all and quick.
Gave the "Lady Pixar" save game a run, she was at level 38 and just about to ascend to the cosmic circle. She only had 476 kills so some ineresting tactics had been used. Rather than ascend to the CC which I have done before I decided to backtrack. I quickly encountered 2 level 23 bitter wings, and 4 level 26 scorchers. One would think something of a challenge for a solo character. Lady Pixer cast death cloud then ran in under it with cane of corpus and canazou dagger flying and mincemeated them and gained 3.5 million experience in the process !
Clearly a phenomenal character in the upper levels.
How to get there though ? A lot of running and backing up save games is going to be required until the faerie ninja levels up considerably. I think that will be boring.
I think I will play an iron man game instead.
