"Pickpocket, Charm Trick?"
I remember reading either here or on some other website about using the Viola D'amore and Pickpocketing from a "blind" (whatever that means) NPC, to get both skills up for a Bard. But I don't get how this trick works...

The trick suggested Anna, but if I pickpocket from her and she catches me, I can use Charm to be able to talk to her again, but then once I leave the dialogue, she's no longer friendly to my bunch of flippin' aliens.

This is always the case, right, since Charm is only temporary, and once dialogue is exited, the NPC is back to not-so-good terms (well, unless you've offered something beforehand, that seems to more than temporarily change their affinity to you)? What am I missing to this trick?

Also, what does Communication affect? I've heard it affects prices, and I assume it affects whether or not Threaten/Friendly work, but all of this is miniscule stuff. Does it do anything worthwhile? Thanks.
