young (Guest) (0 posts) Feb-05-02, 07:52 AM (Pacific) "pissed off the don by killing rattus, now how do I get the AD?" I'm an idiot. I killed rattus before even meeting the don. There are the odd holes in the storyline for this game in that you can get it off him before he steals it. And if you get the AD before getting the fake one, the savant guards attack you saying that they know you have the AD but afterwards the Dark Savant still says his same speech about you not knowing what he is talking about and doesnt realise that you have it. They have just done it this way so that no matter who you kill or what order you do things you can still finish the game. It might have been more realistic if you kill Don before he steals it, then you have to resort to other measures to get it (maybe stealing it yourself from the dark tower) or whatever but that would have taken a lot more programming and probably more problems (just like in a movie you have to overlook some of the holes in the script and just go along for the ride)   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

I just took out Milone and Don Barlone with my 7 person level 9 party though. I did it as two separate battles with rest in between. Milano wasn't too difficult but the Don was. I just got lucky with him. Vi ended up killing him with Skeleton powder so I didn't lose one character in either battle. Pretty sweet, everybody went up to level 10 after this kill.
