elminster (Guest) (0 posts) Jan-18-03, 09:24 AM (Pacific) "thief" Hi, I started the game with warrior, ninja, ranger, thief, priest and mage. Now at level 12 my hobit female thief(trained with ranged attacks and bow) looks to be the weakest party member. Llevram (5413 posts) Jan-18-03, 09:43 AM (Pacific) 1. "Na" It is a little too late to change to Bard to make it worthwhile. Maybe your thief needs better items. There are a lot of powders and bombs and thrown weapons ... or scrolls. Also some decent weapons for short range combat, to make use of the "always backstab" class ability.
