"Finally: I joined the Cosmic Circle"
Just to let everyone here know, after having this game since the day it came out, I finally made one time all the way to the Cosmic Circle.

I suffer greatly from restartitus.

Consider the solo Faerie Ninja route

Tough (bloody tough sometimes) but still winnable

I say that because a Ninja has probably the broadest skill base of any class in the game so that keeps it interesting as there is always something to work on.

There is the awesome Cane of Corpus

A solo character vs the rest of the world is kind of fun.

The concept of Ninja being a faery is just so outrageous that it still makes me laugh.

Actually I have been thinking of the 6 hybrid party: lord, valk, sam, ranger, monk, and ninja. running it on expert and IM.

Haven't played iron man but it should be blast.

Could be a heart breaker though - getting taken out at that last temple by the those demons.

Although you said you are accustomed to a lot of restarts so good luck with it.

Using all hybrids, I will have to wander a bit more and get lots of experience, both fighting and magic. This will mean that I will get to do those things that I didn't before( easter egg dungeons, away camp, really explore rapax castle, etc)
I am planing on being around level 27 - 30 at the end. It will take perserverence more that anything else. Of course I will need luck, and I will need to think before I do something stupid.

BTW, you can save your game if you want( just not from within the game).

Level 30 is a critical level at end game.

Once one Character hits that level the opposition cranks up a bit.

For example the Bitter Wings become Death Wings and the Blistering Scorchers become Magma Scorchers etc.

All good fun though !

Didn't know that, my only party to make it to the end was level 20-23. Maybe I'll wander about a little more than I thought.

I wonder what wandering around will do ...? Since the higher level you are, the tougher the opposition (throughout the game, i.e. you get different monsters in the monastery at levels 1-7 than you do when you come back at level 10+). So wandering around, gaining more exp and levels ... makes it harder.

Of course, but that is a part of the experience that I want. I was very lucky in my last game, I went through Rapax Castle in about 3 hours real time. I just lucked in to what I needed. There are things and places I have not been yet. One of the things I want to do is to explore EVERY little nook and cranny. That will require wandering around. Plus, with no pure magic users, I will have to be at a higher average level with my hybrids. Plus, I have heard that there are level 50 monsters out there, never saw anything above 27 first time.

The all hybrid party sounds really good. If you haven't done so before, try combat on continuous mode instead of phased. It seems to keep the pace of the battle up and since all of your characters will be spellcasters, it will be nice to have the option to change a character's action during the round. Also, combat is paused while you're selecting a spell.

Overall, I think you'll find that you'll have many options with all hybrids. The downside is that you don't get those high level spell until quite late.
