Someone posted a long while back that the dials corresponded to the races, in some aspect. One dial was set with fire/lava for Rapax, another for the Higardi (sky or air), another for the Trynnie (earth or trees?).If all else fails, just turn them in order: Spin the first dial, if all thre oositions don't do it, spi the middle one once, the repeat the first dial, ad naseum, progression , yada yada yada ...
After that (talking to the prisoner doesn't really do much for ya, but you do want the item in the cell) the entrance is partially blocked. In the tunnel where you should have made a cave-in (leads to the spa/poll area), you want to cause another cave-in, right in the same spot as the first one.
No bridge repair is needed here in the rift (that is just in Trynton).
