"Vi can't be rescued?"

Jem (Guest) (236 posts) Feb-05-02, 03:42 PM (Pacific) "Vi can't be rescued?" Okay, I know this is going to sound strange but was anyone else unable to rescue Vi from the crashed ship? I'm on my second run-through of the game and when I went to the ship the troopers were there in the room but Vi is nowhere to be found. I wasn't planning on recruiting her this time or anything but it's a little difficult to complete the quest without the object of the quest being available. I'm going to go back and load an older save from prior to entering Arnika for the first time but I was wondering -- if I can't get her to show up even using my older save, do you think it will it affect the endgame when she's supposed to be there or will that whole sequence play out even though I never saw her?   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

No, I talked to Myles (could hardly avoid it -- he accosted me. ) but only recruited him long enough to grab his inventory. He made some comment about if we didn't hurry the woman would be dead before we got there. So I went back to an old save from before I went to save Vi but after I got to Arnika and went back to recruit Myles again before heading over to Vi's place and when we entered there was still no Vi. I'm annoyed with myself because I didn't save between leaving the Monastery and entering Arnika so now I'm going to have to go back and redo that whole bit again.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
